Recording Connection grad Kenny Rosseter
Congrats to Recording Connection grad
Kenny Rosseter on getting hired full-time by his former mentor Jeramy Roberts!
“I must say the opportunity to be a student with RRFC has truly changed my life. Not only has it been beneficial towards my career goals, but also a memorable experience I will never forget. I’m excited to announce that I have been hired to a full-time position by Northwest Music Group. My mentor, Jeramy Roberts, has been a big part of my educational experience. He has taught me a lot about music production as well as music marketing. I’m proud to have the opportunity to work with him within the music industry and hope to gain more knowledge to further my career goals.”
Screenwriting mentor Ron Osborn and Cheryl G. Agbunag
Congrats to Film Connection grad
Cheryl Agbunag on procuring the interest of not one, but two different Hollywood producers. Cheryl’s former screenwriting mentor Ron Osborn was happy to report that both producers would like to continue talking with Cheryl about her TV series “Cold War Charlie,” an adrenaline-inducing fictional dramatization based on her experiences as a tough, courageous female officer during the Cold War era.
In a recent interview with us, Cheryl talked about her experience training with Ron:
“I love his personality and the fact that he has a great sense of humor…His mentoring style is very professional and easily understood. He doesn’t handhold you which is so important when you’re learning something new…He has tremendous amount of patience in how he explains things and plenty of samples of professional work he sends you. For example, when I was learning to build my characters and their personalities, creating a bio for each of them, his explanations and examples made my learning curve easy. So I felt like, ‘Gosh…I’m working with an actual professional screenwriter.’ Though I did the work, his mentoring is like working with a writing partner.”
