A Day in the Life of Our Students

Ofu Obekpa with members of cast and crew during the
making of Klippers
Congrats to Film Connection grad
Ofu Obekpa (Atlanta, GA) on the trail he’s blazing with his new film, the thriller/suspense film
Klippers (co-starring pro wrestler Kevin Nash)! Written and directed by Ofu, the feature full-length is the culmination of hard work and the willingness to take it to the finish line. When one of Ofu’s other screenplays had made it all the way to the upper echelons in Hollywood but was taking too long to get the greenlight, the Nigerian-born, American filmmaker decided to take the reins and make it happen. Check out the story
ABC just ran on him.

Recording Connection student
Jeremiah Wilson, who apprentices at Mix Master Pro Studios in Washington, DC, is starting things out in the fast lane:
“After the session ended and I got to spend time watching Rob Sanchez, another engineer, work his talents on mixing a vocalist at the studio… I actually got to start working on a song with one of the students and can’t wait to finish it. This will definitely help me learn more about engineering and understanding the inner-workings of a complete song! All I can say now is that I am determined and excited to continue this journey.”
