The videos below were created to answer frequently asked questions from parents and students about how our unique film apprenticeship programs work.  We realize our approach differs from most other schools.  We strongly believe our approach — the mentor/apprentice approach — works, especially if your goal is to get a job in the film business, or make it as a filmmaker.

 

Film Connection is the school that connects its students with film industry professionals who serve as their private instructors.  We call them mentors. If you want to be a film director, we pair you with a working, professional film director.  If you want to be a film producer, we pair you with a professional film producer.  If you want to become a screenwriter, we pair you with professional screenwriters who have written movies you’ve seen and loved.  The Film Connection places you in real working situations with private instruction from professionals who make their living doing what you want to do upon graduation — Make Movies! We do it this way because it’s what works in the real world.
